2. Because the development of the cerebral cortex in infants is not perfect, the function of the temperature regulation center is not mature, the skin heat dissipation and heat preservation regulation function are relatively poor compared with adults, and the body temperature is also easily affected by external factors. In addition to measuring the forehead, it is recommended to try to measure different parts of the baby's fever (carotid artery, chest or belly) to determine, with the group that shows the most data shall prevail.

 

3. It is recommended to measure for about 3 times during measurement, and the interval time of each measurement is 3-5 seconds, which shall be subject to the most set of data displayed.

1. Please read the instruction manual carefully before use. Improper use may result in impaired ear/forehead temperature gun performance and incorrect measurements.
2. Do not use the ear/forehead temperature gun when the ear canal is wet or suffering from ear disease.
3. Earwax and other obstacles will affect the accuracy of the ear/forehead temperature gun.
4. Sleeping on the side will cause an increase in ear temperature, so avoid it.
5. The ear temperature gun has been calibrated. If you follow the manual, there is no need to recalibrate it.
6. The readings may be different between the left and right ears. Please use the same ear to ensure accuracy.
7. Body temperature may rise after shower or exercise. Please take a short rest before taking a temperature measurement.
8. An equivalent reading above 37.5 ° C indicates the patient is likely to have a fever. 9. Do not use excessive force to insert the thermometer head into the ear canal.
